We have delivered 108 vehicles of "10-300" series EMU for
Bureau of Transportation, Tokyo Metropolitan Government. The service
route is not only Subway "Shinjuku" line but also the private
railway of "Keio" Line. This is one of the main subway lines
of East-West direction in Tokyo Metropolitan. We have delivered former
"10-000" series EMU in 1980.
The body shell construction is
based on JR-East's "E 231" series EMU, meanwhile the front
face is geometric solid shape specially for this series.
("E
231" was jointly developed by JR-East and Tokyu Car, and now become
the majority standard EMU in JR-East fleet.) The 10-300 series EMU has
introduced the train information management system, which is used in the
E231 series EMU after modification.
Due to availability in Keio Line,
the signaling system has Digital signal ATC, space wave radio, the ATS
for the Keio Line.
Currently, 10-300 series consists of 5 motor vehicles
and 3 trailer vehicles.
